Meet Job Requirements
The Avery Ranch Redfish Swim Team is operated solely by parent volunteers. Membership on the swim team comes with mandatory meet job participation. One meet job shift is required per swimmer. Families with more than two swimmers will require two meet jobs shifts.
Team
The Redfish Swim Team is a member of the North Austin Aquatic League (NAAL) and follows the rules set forth by the ByLaws of the NAAL. These rules may change from year to year.
The funds from each Redfish season are used each year towards NAAL dues, coaches, pools, equipment, t-shirts, trophies, and swimmer events. All the parents who work on Redfish Leadership Committee are parent volunteers and are not paid. This is how our costs are kept down. All of our teams participate in a championship meet at the end of our season.
After our championship meet we have an end of year banquet honoring everyone for all their hard work.
