Katy has an extensive coaching and swimming background. She grew up right here in Austin and swam summer league with the Hurricanes. She even still holds a couple of team records! She swam Division II in college. She has coached all levels of swimming including itty-bitties, summer league, club, Master’s swim, and high school. She spent a couple of years as head coach for the Cedar Park Typhoons and started the swim program for Glenn High School in LISD.
Hi, I’m Coach Caitlyn. I am currently a social studies teacher at Vista Ridge High School and will be returning for my third year as Vista Ridge’s Head Swim Coach. I am so excited to get to work with Redfish this season since summer league was always my favorite time to swim! I am also excited to be working with so many great coaches and junior coaches who I also get the privilege of coaching at VR. I can’t wait to see what this summer has to offer and to see everyone work together, improve and most importantly have fun! Goooo Redfish!
Hi I am Coach Kathy! I am currently a Second Grade Bilingual teacher at Berkman Elementary. I graduated from Texas State University in 2016. I also graduated high school from Vista Ridge where I swam for all four years of high school. My junior year I went to State for the medley relay where we won second place. During my senior year I was captain. My favorite events were the 50 and 100 yard freestyle. I am so excited for this season and I can't wait to watch how amazing your children excel in swimming! Gooooo redfish!

Hi, I am Coach Katie! I am so excited to be part of the Redfish Swim Family this year! I am returning to Austin for the summer after working at an Internship in at Disney World in Orlando for the past year. In the fall I will be returning to Texas Tech to finish my degree. At Tech, I am also part of a Swim Team like I was in high school. In high school, I was a member of the Varsity Swim Team all four years and earned a Regionals spot my last two years, after swimming on a State team in TAPPS. I LOVE being part of a team and helping you swim fast and love the sport as much as I do! I can’t wait to get started! See you at the pool!

Hey everyone, my name is Hunter Artmann. There are few things that trump my passion for breakfast tacos (as you can see), but swimming is one of them. I swam for Nitro through high school and was a 100, 200, 500 freestyler for Texas A&M in college (gig 'em). This will be my third season with Redfish after a two year hiatus. After a 6 year break from swimming, I've recently gotten the itch again and currently swim with the Waterloo Masters Program in the mornings. My day job is an engineering manager for a larger cyber security company based here in Austin. Happy to be back :D.

Hi I’m Coach Connor! I will be graduating from Vista Ridge High School this May and I will be attending SMU in the fall and majoring in Sports Management and Finance. I swam all four years of high school and was Captain my senior year of our State qualifying team. In addition, I competitively swam 8 years on club teams and summer leagues. I am very passionate about the sport of swimming and my goal is to help everyone get faster each week while making practices fun and enjoyable. I am super excited to be a part of the Redfish team and I am looking forward to a successful season this summer. Can’t wait to see everyone on deck!

Hi I am Coach Kailey! I have been swimming since I was five years old and have had a passion for it ever since! I have had great coaches over the years that have also been instrumental in the coaching of Olympic swimmers. I believe the basis of every great swimmer is a great technique and after that passion and speed are the true keys. I am so excited to work with every one of your swimmers and can’t wait to get them excited to swim this season. I will be returning from my first year of college as a Psychology major and believe bubble jumps are my favorite practice past time.
