Let's Get This Redfish Party Started!
Greetings Redfish Fans!
Some updates and housekeeping:
#1: The MAC is very near full and lingering at 74 degrees. Our first day of practice is tomorrow at our home facility! WOOT! Six & unders SPLASH at 4:15pm which is not the same as ARRIVING at 4:15pm. Ditto for the older groups. Do your very, very best to get your child to the edge of the pool, step away and go have a seat in the strip of shade (or sun if that's how your roll). We plan to be in the water and we will keep your little Redfish safe. We promise. :)
Anyone child who had an issue with assessments knows at this point.
#2: To gain access to the MAC, you must have your magnetic keycard with you. We do not prop the gates for safety reasons. To gain access to the MAC on Mondays (it is typically closed), you have to have provided your magnetic card # to Tracy Beeman.
#3: BE PREPARED! For swim practice tomorrow, please bring a big smile, graceful patience, *your excited, swimsuited, pre-sunscreened child(ren)*, goggles, fins (if purchased), a water bottle and a towel. Team member shirts will be ready for pick up tomorrow as well as practice swim caps. If you are able, please plan to stay after practice for a bit and decorate your practice cap (with Sharpies) under the pavilion!
#4: We have 15 swims until our first meet to get stronger, faster and more confident in the water. Please make it to practice as often as you can, but be aware that a MINIMUM of 2 practice attendances in the week preceding a meet is required. Use Facebook when you need help. We are a family and care for one another!
#5: Your volunteer job assignments (along with an introduction to your team and a brief job description) will hit your inbox today.
#6: GooOOO REDFISH! SWIM FAST! See you tomorrow at the pool!
